When my health insurance plan renewed this year I received a brochure advising to call my agent Frank H Furman Inc. if I would like to choose a different plan. I decided to call them to review some options for plans with additional coverage rather than call the company directly thinking I would get better service through my local agent. When I first called the office, I gave the girl my name and number for her to look me up in the system, the call disconnected and they did not call me back. About a week later I called again and a girl there told me that she would give my info to one of her associates to call me back. He called me back and I explained what I needed. He sounded like he had no interest in assisting me, his tone of voice implied that I was being a burden. He said he would TRY to find my file and would call me back. I knew after we hung up that I would never hear back from him, and I didn't. I ended up calling the company directly for different plan options and was assisted with only one call. Needless to say, I am finding another servicing agent for future assistance.
