The staff should try to be more educated on the advise they are giving people. I was told one thing when closing my 401K out early (by force might I add, not because I wanted to) and then had a totally different amount with held when my money actually was deposited. I was borderlined harassed with phone calls daily and not even given a chance to met with a financial advisor as I had planned prior to moving my money. My only choice was to withdrawal or open and IRA with them because of the phone calls I was getting, at work and on my phone. I choose to just withdraw it so that I wouldn’t have to deal with them ever again. I had to end up calling H&R Block to answer my questions about the fees and taxes that were being with held. I really hope that they invest in some better training for their staff so that in the future they can actually assist and advise people. I wouldn’t recommend anyone place any money of any amount with them. Julie Settles is who I dealt with there, maybe other staff is more knowledgeable, maybe she is also and just tells you what she wants to in order to get you to hurry up and sign whatever paper she needs.
