My experience was not great. I was a 4yr customer and new homeowner. Rates were competitive at first but from year 1 to year 4 my homeowners insurance went up approx. 30% with no explanation, causing a shortage in escrow, which was raising my monthly mortgage every year. I had no claims on my insurance and this office made absolutely no efforts to reconcile. They just said it was due to the appreciation of my house, so I was stonewalled into the higher rates and a higher monthly mortgage that was taking a toll on my finances. Same with my multi-car auto policy. We had 2 claims and my insurance skyrocketed which in most cases it is understandable but an almost 40% increase was a bit much and again no bend or reconciliation. I went to farmers and saved $1700 off of my homeowners policy, and $125 a month on my auto. I received a refund when I cancelled my home policy with this office which got my escrow account balanced and my monthly mortgage went back down almost to where it started. Same house, same home coverage, same cars, same drivers. I'll give this office 2 stars only because they handled the auto claims very well. Other than that I was very disappointed with the lack of empathy and business acumen from this office and would recommend keeping an eye on your premiums to make sure they remain competitive.
